Rich bay gelding, 4 years, registered Arabian Riding Pony - eligible Riding Pony and Part Welsh. Lightly shown for Reserve Champion yearling at the Junior Showcase 2007 and Champion Arabian Riding Pony at the All Arabian in 2009. Oliver is currently 14.1hh and has just been started under saddle with Chris Lambert. He will make an exceptional and very competitive all round small galloway, he has extravagant movement, a kind and willing temperament and is no trouble to prep for a show. Ed is a brown/black 14.3hh, 10yo gelding by Tungurra Dreamtime.
Regsitered EWA, SHC and Part Welsh.
We have owned Ed since August 2007 where we purchased him from Queensland when my daughter had just turned 12. He has been the ideal step up from ponies with our main plan for him as a rider mount. Ed has exceeded our expectation with some fantastic results in their partnership together. He is beautifully educated, an absolute delight to prepare and a pleasure to show with his wonderful temperament requiring minimal work at shows. He qualifies easily for Royals etc and has numerous rider, open, show hunter champions and reserves to his credit and would suit any confident child, teen or lady rider. Ed is easy to wash, float, shoe etc.
Ed has some impressive dressage scores also to his credit being Interschool 2009 Secondary Prelim winner (82.6%) making him a super competitive Interschool mount. He is regularly ridden in the bush, through creeks and willingly pops over jumps and loves the beach.
Ed only competed at major shows in 2009 as we concentrated on our new large hack hence the reluctant offering of him for sale.
